Highlights from the History of Le Château des Îles

A Former Family Residence, Le Château des Îles was donated in 1925 to the city’s social services.

1930: The house became a family guesthouse.
1940: A restaurant and guinguette were created, offering banquets and lively afternoon dances.
1987: The Château des Îles expanded with the addition of its veranda and became a hotel-restaurant.
1995: The establishment was taken over by Mr. Luc TEYANT, who renovated and revitalized it, later joined by his brother Pierre, a young and talented Chef.
2011: Complete renovation of all hotel rooms and compliance with accessibility standards for guests with reduced mobility.
2012: Refurbishment of the restaurant and kitchen to offer a modern, elegant design.
2014: Outdoor improvements, including the creation of a covered terrace and renovation of the parking area.
